Play Make Create Week 9

Image
For this week's Play, Make, Create we could do anything we liked just as long it was based on the word camp. I partnered up with Abby and Lexie. We decided to make a miniature campsite. We made a pool and a spa with cellophane and under the cellophane was an old knitted blanket we cut up. We did the same thing making a river. Over the top of the river was a bridge we made out of a paper bag. We also made a tent out of paper. We then made a cabin out of cardboard and we got another bit of cardboard and stuck it down to make a door. In the middle, we put a campfire using cellophane and iceblock sticks around to make seats. By the tent, we stuck down some more of a paper bag and made a pathway to a bush walk we also added a sign. Then we got some green felt and cut it out to make longer grass.

Maths Mystery Week 9.

Today we did a Maths Mystery. Emily was my partner. We had to try three times until we got it correct. The mystery was who stole the Longthorne Primary School's athletics trophy. The thief was Mollie. Mollie is a female, she is a year three, she is in the blue team, her drink bottle was metal, and her shoe size is size nine.

Play, Make, Create.

This is my Play, Make, Create art. I did it with Sophie and we are very proud of our work. The book we based it on was Giraffes Can't Dance. Sophie and I used yellow leaves to make Gerald the giraffe, a stick to make a tree, green leaves to do the top of the tree, and for the grass, we got real grass and stuck it down.

Week 5, Term 1, 2021

Monday was our school Swimming Sports. On the day I swam in three races, give it a go freestyle, give it a go backstroke, and competition breathstroke. I won all my races and have made it to Hauraki Plains Swimming Sports for breathstroke. We had two art sessions this week and I am very proud of my work. I am in Mrs Loft/Mrs Heaven’s group. I think it will turn out great. In reading this week we have sat down and read with Miss Mac. I am reading a book called Mr Skip. I think it is going to be a great story so far. Part of our maths programme is NumBots and I think I am doing quite well, I am on steel and pretty proud of where I am at.
